Featuring 16,032 meticulously arranged objects throughout the track, Dark Drop is a 7-star difficulty level with 3 user coins.
Gameplay Overview
Dark Drop is neatly divided into two parts, offering a distinct challenge crafted by each creator:
NatDak’s Section (0%–43%)
The journey begins with a straightforward cube segment, leading into a fast 3x wave section and quick alternations between cube and UFO forms. Around 22%, players encounter a tricky wave segment with sharp 22.5-degree slopes, requiring seamless transitions between cube and robot modes. After a short auto part and ship sequence, the path continues into a basic ball segment.
- First Coin: Collected early at 4% during the ball section by leaping from a block and tapping an invisible jump orb.
- Second Coin Opportunity: At 61%, a hidden coin awaits players who perform a precise jump through a secret path after entering a cube portal.
Alkali’s Section (44%–100%)
Taking over the second half, Alkali amps up the intensity with a cube section leading into a robot and back into another cube sequence.
- At 51%, players are challenged with a curve-flying ship section, followed by a semi-auto mini-ship and a slow-moving cube part.
- Second Coin: This one can be snagged by making an extra jump after passing through a cube portal.
As the pace quickens:
- 71% introduces a demanding dual mini-ship section, a tense slow wave segment, and a final cube sequence.
- Third Coin: At 77%, players must master precise wave movements through a tight gap above the main path to claim it.
- The level culminates in a 3x speed dual cube challenge, then eases into a final robot and cube segment for the grand finish.
