How To Play
- The objective is to combine tiles until you reach 2048. With each tile merger, the value doubles. To combine tiles that are similar, you can move them in any direction. You won't have much room to maneuver on the 4x4 grid. Give some breathing room a go.
- Begin by placing the bricks in a single square corner. You will only use the up, down, and sideways buttons. Simple rules are also in place. When you move a tile, a new tile will spawn at random anywhere in the box, so all you have to do is move it. If you're moving tiles with the same number and they touch, they'll combine into a single tile with the total of their numbers. You can increase your chances of bringing tiles of the same number closer together by arranging them at an angle.
Tips and tricks
- First, choose the cells with the smallest numbers on them to work with. Put the tiles with higher numbers in one corner, and mix the tiles with lower numbers. Once completed, the score will gradually increase over time. To facilitate their combination, use the tiles adjacent to the corner you are now working with to retain the tile with the greatest number.
- Before merging high-value cells, take your time. As a result, the tiles you're reserving may become dispersed, making it harder to blend different tiles. If you want to get a certain result, you must keep joining squares with low values.
- Never put a box with a large number in the center of it. By blocking the appearance of lower-numbered tiles with your tile with a higher number, you will make it more difficult to combine other tiles.
